Scholarships worth Rs. 5, 75,000/- distributed among 91 students

Saini Charitable Education Trust (Regd.) 'SCET' organized two days annual education function on 7th & 8th October, 2021 at Saini Bhawan Ropar. During the function scholarships worth Rs. 5, 75,000/- were distributed among 91 outstanding and needy students belonging to economically weaker families of the society for the academic year 2021-22. Declamation Contest was also organized during the function on the subjects, for higher classes "Governmental strategy dealing with Covid-19:- A success or a failure". In English language and for lower classes "New centre Agriculture laws, either good or bad." In Punjabi language. First three students in each category were awarded Cash award of Rs. 2000/-.1600/- 1200/- to seniors and Rs. 1500/-, 1200/-, 1000/- to juniors. Twenty-five students from 10 educational institutes participated in this declamation contest. Businessman S. Amarjit Singh Saini was chief guests on this occasion, while Sh. Tarsem Saini President Rice Millers Association Punjab presided over the function. Both the guests lauded the efforts of the trust for providing scholarships to the outstanding students & appreciated the social & educational activities of Managing Committee of SCET for the promotion of education. S. Balbir Singh Saini Chairman SCET highlighted the various activities of Education Trust and also thanked the donors for proving financial help to the Trust for awarding scholarships. Trust President Rajinder Saini thanked the chief guests, distinguished audience & students.
