ANNUAL EDUCATION FUNCTION OF SCET-2020

SCHOLARSHIPS WORTH Rs. 6, 03,000/- DISTRIBUTED TO 90 STUDENTS

Saini Charitable Education Trust (Regd.) ‘SCET’ organized annual education function on Nov. 28th, 2020 at Saini Bhawan Ropar (Rupnagar). During the function scholarships worth Rs. 6,03,000/- were distributed among 90 outstanding and needy students belonging to economically weaker families of the society for the academic year 2020-21. Er. Bhagwan Singh, Regional Environment Officer (Retd.) Haryana from Panchkula was chief guests on this occasion while Sh. Tarsem Saini president All India Rice Millers Association presided over the function. Both the guests lauded the efforts of the trust in providing scholarships to the outstanding students & appreciated the social & educational activities of Managing Committee of SCET for the promotion of education. On this occasion Er. Bhagwan Singh said that Saini Bhawan Ropar in one of the best active body of Saini Community among all bodies of our community. He donated an amount of Rs. 51,000/- to the Saini Bhawan for the promotion of social activities. Sh. Tarsem Saini also donated Rs. 10,000/- to Education Trust. Dr. Ajmer Singh Tamber, Chairman of Managing committee of Saini Bhawan, S. Balbir Singh Saini Chairman SCET highlighted the various activities of Saini Bhawan & Education Trust and also thanked the donors for proving financial help to the Trust for awarding scholarships.
