SAINI CHARITABLE EDUCATION TRUST ORGANISED DECLAMATION CONTEST



With a view to highlight the burning issues of the society and to promote self confident among the student community Saini Charitable Education Trust (Regd.) “SCET” organised annual declamation contest on currant issues on September 24th,2016 at Saini Bhawan, Rupnagar. The subject of Punjabi language declamation contest was “Problem of underground water in Punjab, reason and its solution” where as the subject of English language was “Why, India ranking second in world population is at the bottom in Olympics sports?” About 30 students from various schools participated in the declamation contest. Ms Palwinder Kaur Rani Member of Punjab Women Commission was chief guest on this occasion. She distributed Certificates to winner students and appreciated the social & educational activities of Managing Committee of Saini Bhawan, Rupnagar.

President of SCET Dr. Ajmer Singh highlighted the various activities of Trust. PRO of Trust Rajinder Saini thanked the Chief Guest Ms Palwinder Kaur Rani, distinguished audience & students. Winners in both the declamation Contest were awarded cash prize of Rupees 2000, 1600 & 1200 respectively and consolation prizes in kinds to 4th & 5th positions too. Certificates to all participants were also given.
