SCET DISTRIBUTED THE SCHOLARSHIPS



'Saini Charitable Education Trust (Regd.)' Rupnagar (SCET) provided scholarships for Rs. 3,98,400 to 98 outstanding & needy students for the academic year 2014-15 during a function held at Saini Bhawan on Oct. 4th, 2014. Punjab Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema was the chief guest of the event, distributed the scholarships to students. He appreciated the role of 'Saini Charitable Education Trust' for promoting education and helping the needy students & announced a grant of Rs. 3 Lakh to Saini Bhawan for undertaking various activities. Declamation contest in English and Punjabi language were also organized for the students during the function.President of SCET Dr. Ajmer Singh Tamber highlighted the activities carried out by the trust for encouraging outstanding & needy students. Chairman of the trust LR Mundra and all Trustees & Managing Committees members were also present on this occasion.
