SCET DISTRIBUTES SCHOLARSHIPS WORTH Rs. 4.92 LAKH TO 107 STUDENTS

Saini Charitable Education Trust (Regd.) "SCET" organized annual education Function on Oct. 7th, 2017 at Saini Bhawan Ropar (Rupnagar). During the function scholarships worth Rs. 4, 92 lakh was distributed to 107 outstanding and needy students belonging to economically weaker families of the society for the academic year 2017-18. Rupnagar Deputy Commissioner Smt. Gurneet Tej was chief guest on this occasion. She distributed the scholarships & appreciated the social & educational activities of Managing Committee of SCET for the promotion of education. She also Stress upon the need to inculcate the spirit of service to help needy people of society as being done by SCET. Sant Baba Avtar Singh ji of Head Darbar presided over the function. Deputy Commissioner congratulated administrators of SCET for the pious cause being carried on for the welfare of society. During the function winners of declamation contest held in Punjabi & English language were also honoured with Cash awards of Rs 2000, Rs 1600 & Rs 1200 respectively. President of SCET Dr. Ajmer Singh highlighted the various activities of Trust on this occasion. Secretary Balbir Singh thanked donors of SCET to help the needy students of society. PRO of Trust Rajinder Saini thanked the Chief Guest, distinguished audience & students.

27th issue of Quarterly magazine 'Saini Sansar' was also released on this occasion.
